Trézor Bridge is a lightweight background application that enables secure communication between your Trézor hardware wallet and web-based wallets. It allows your browser to detect your Trézor device via USB, making it possible to use web wallets like the browser version of Trézor Suite, MetaMask, and MyEtherWallet.
However, the standalone Bridge application has been deprecated by Trézor and is no longer officially supported. It may not work with newer Trézor models (e.g., Safe 7) or future operating system updates. For the best experience, use the Trézor Suite desktop application, which communicates directly with your device without requiring Bridge.
⚠️ Important Notice
The standalone Trézor Bridge is no longer supported. The Trézor Suite desktop app is the recommended solution. It offers improved stability, advanced privacy features, and full functionality without the need for Bridge.
If you still need Bridge for legacy applications, you can find the latest version on the official Trézor GitHub repository. However, we strongly recommend migrating to Trézor Suite for a more reliable and secure experience.
🔑 Security First: Trézor will never ask for your recovery phrase. It must only be entered on your Trézor device screen – never in any app or website. Always download from official sources.
